About us

What we do

WE CREATE EXHIBITIONS, CONVERSATIONS AND COLLABORATIONS AROUND CONTEMPORARY ART.

WE WORK WITH ARTISTS, CURATORS, COLLECTORS, ENTREPRENEURS AND INSTITUTIONS — IN STOCKHOLM AND INTERNATIONALLY — TO CREATE NEW CONTEXTS FOR ART AND NEW CONNECTIONS AROUND IT.

SOMETIMES THAT MEANS AN EXHIBITION. SOMETIMES A PERFORMANCE, A BREAKFAST, A CONVERSATION OR AN INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION. SOMETIMES WE INVITE PEOPLE INTO OUR SPACE. SOMETIMES WE TAKE HAS SOMEWHERE ELSE.

WE CURATE, CONNECT, PRODUCE AND EXPERIMENT.

ALWAYS WITH ART AT THE CENTRE — AND AN INTEREST IN WHAT CAN HAPPEN AROUND IT.

Our Essence

AT HAS – HELIX ART SPACE, WE BELIEVE ART NEEDS SPACE — TO BREATHE, TO CHALLENGE, TO SURPRISE AND TO CONNECT.

WE ARE CURIOUS BY NATURE AND INDEPENDENT BY CHOICE. WE BELIEVE IN TAKING RISKS, CROSSING BOUNDARIES AND BRINGING TOGETHER PEOPLE AND IDEAS THAT MIGHT NOT OTHERWISE MEET.

WE MAKE SPACE FOR THE UNEXPECTED.

BECAUSE THE MOST INTERESTING THINGS RARELY HAPPEN WHERE YOU EXPECT THEM TO.

Meet the team

At HAS, our strength comes from shared curiosity, creative energy, and the mix of minds that shape everything we do.

Daniel Daboczy is a curator, producer, and award-winning entrepreneur with a background in Art History and International Curating. His curatorial journey began with boundary-pushing, future-oriented exhibitions—dissolving the line between the material and the immaterial, and exploring new arenas of creation shaped by evolving technologies and cultural shifts. Alongside his curatorial work, Daniel spent over a decade lecturing on curating and project management at Stockholm University, and led the launch and global expansion of FundedByMe—one of Europe’s first equity crowdfunding platforms—empowering creatives and startups across continents. At HAS – Helix Art Space, he brings together artistic insight and entrepreneurial vision to create a high-altitude platform where experimentation, culture, and innovation converge above the city skyline.

About me

Thom is originally from Västerås and relocated to Stockholm to further develop his creative skills and explore new opportunities within design and visual communication. As a self-taught web designer with a long background in photography, he brings a refined sense of visual coherence and storytelling to his digital work. At Helix Art Space, Thom is responsible for both the website and the photography featured throughout the platform. He has built the site from the ground up, with a strong focus on creating a visual identity that reflects the values and aesthetic of the space. His approach is rooted in a clear, architectural design language that unifies the digital presence. The result is a robust and expressive web experience that mirrors the atmosphere of HAS – honest, intentional, and bold.
