At HAS - Helix Art Space, we are interested in the systems that shape perception before we become aware of them. Crashing Media enters precisely there, where connection turns into overload, and participation into quiet manipulation.

We chose to present Pfeifer & Kreutzer because their work operates with a rare precision. Through kinetic installations, sound, and minimal gestures, they create systems that appear simple, almost playful, until they begin to shift. Motors repeat, objects hesitate, machines fail in subtle ways. In that gap, something human appears: fragility, tension, and a strange sense of recognition.  

The German and international art scene remains essential to us for this reason. It carries a discipline of reduction and critical distance, a refusal to simply reflect the world as it is, and instead expose the structures beneath it. In a time dominated by speed and noise, that clarity becomes increasingly urgent. Stockholm carries a strong and increasingly confident art scene. What matters now is not scale, but connection, to continuously invite in voices that sharpen, expand, and challenge the conversation. At HAS - Helix Art Space, we take a deliberate position in that landscape, working to anchor international practices within a local context and create encounters that feel both immediate and necessary.

Over the past year, we have actively built bridges toward Korea and across Asia. With Crashing Media, we continue that trajectory, turning our attention toward the German art scene, where a long-standing tradition of conceptual rigor and critical distance brings a different kind of intensity into the space.

At HAS, we are not interested in passive viewing. We are interested in moments where something breaks, not as spectacle, but as revelation. Crashing Media holds that moment, and asks whether we are still capable of recognizing it.
